Philip is an advocate of the High Court Kenya, has worked with a number of Civil Society Organizations including Kituo Cha Sheria a center for legal Aid and awareness where he litigated on various Public Interest cases especially on ECOSOC Rights, the International Institute for Legislative Affairs as Policy and Legislative Drafting Officer where he was in charge of policy and legislative development initiatives. He has also headed Policy and Legislative Engagements at Transparency International – Kenya under the Policy Legal and Institutional Frameworks Programme.
Philip holds a Masters in Public Policy & Administration (MPPA) from Kenyatta University, he is a graduate of Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) with an LLB in Law and a Post Graduate Diploma from Kenya School of Law. He is an Alumni of the Future Leaders Connect Programme and a Policy Leader Fellowship Programme with the European University Institute (EUI).
