Former Deputy Finance Minister Brings Wealth of Experience
WASHINGTON, DC – Global Financial Integrity (GFI) announced today that Nelson Barbosa, the former deputy finance minister of Brazil, has joined the organization’s Advisory Board. Raymond Baker, President of Global Financial Integrity, said, “Nelson is an outstanding addition to our Advisory Board. He has years of experience working to boost governance, combat tax evasion, and curb corruption in Latin America’s largest economy, as well as a strong background at international fora such as the G20 and the BRICS. We look forward to receiving his guidance on how we can better craft and pursue our agenda to curtail illicit flows in Brazil, in Latin America, and globally.”
